Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using File Organizer Pro ("the Software"), you expressly agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you must not download, install, or use the Software.

2. License Grant

File Organizer Pro is proprietary software developed by AEB DevLabs. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Software for personal or commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

Restrictions:

• You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
• You may not redistribute, sell, or sublicense the Software without written permission
• You may not remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels

3. Description of Service

File Organizer Pro is a desktop application designed to help users manage files on their local system. The Software provides features to:

• Find and manage duplicate files
• Detect document versions
• Identify similar images
• Organize files by category
• Clean up unnecessary files
• Delete files with a Safe Trash recovery option

The Software operates entirely offline and does not collect, transmit, or store any user data externally.

4. User Responsibilities and Acknowledgments

4.1 Assumption of Risk

• You are solely responsible for all file operations performed using the Software
• File deletion, organization, and modification operations carry inherent risks of data loss
• You must maintain adequate backups of all important files before using the Software
• The Software is provided as a tool; you make all final decisions about which files to delete or modify

4.2 Proper Use

• You will use the Software only for lawful purposes
• You will carefully review all file selections before confirming any operation
• You understand that some operations may be irreversible

5. Safe Trash Feature and Windows Recycle Bin

Safe Trash — Deleted files are initially moved to a recoverable location. Files in Safe Trash can be restored to their original location and remain there until you explicitly empty it.

Windows Recycle Bin option — When enabled, emptying the Safe Trash sends files to the Windows Recycle Bin, providing an additional layer of protection before permanent deletion.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. AEB DevLabs expressly disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:

• MERCHANTABILITY — No guarantee the Software is fit for commercial use
• FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE — No guarantee the Software will meet your specific needs
• ACCURACY — No guarantee that duplicate detection, version detection, or similar features will be 100% accurate
• DATA INTEGRITY — No guarantee that file operations will not result in data corruption or loss

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AEB DevLabs, its affiliates, licensors, and service providers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages including:

• Loss of data, files, documents, photos, videos, or any digital content
• Loss of profits, revenue, business opportunities, or goodwill
• Computer system damage, malfunction, or failure
• Any damages arising from the use or inability to use the Software

In no event shall the total liability of AEB DevLabs exceed the amount you paid for the Software (if any), or $10 USD, whichever is greater.

8. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless AEB DevLabs from and against any claims, damages, costs, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Software, your violation of these Terms, or any claim that your use caused damage to a third party.

9. Data Loss Warning

1. ALWAYS MAINTAIN BACKUPS — Keep copies of important files on external drives or cloud storage
2. REVIEW CAREFULLY — Always review file selections before confirming any bulk operation
3. TEST FIRST — Test the Software on non-critical files before processing important data
4. USE SAFE TRASH — Keep the Windows Recycle Bin option enabled for additional protection
5. UNDERSTAND THE RISKS — No software can guarantee 100% accurate file analysis

10. Intellectual Property

File Organizer Pro, its name, logo, and all related materials are the property of AEB DevLabs. All intellectual property rights are reserved. Third-party libraries used are subject to their respective licenses.

11. Updates and Modifications

AEB DevLabs may release updates to improve functionality or fix issues. AEB DevLabs reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Software at any time by uninstalling it. AEB DevLabs may terminate your license at any time for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, all rights granted to you under these Terms cease immediately.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Brazil. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration, conducted in Portuguese or English at the user's choice. You waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits against AEB DevLabs.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and AEB DevLabs regarding the use of the Software and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
